====== Partition ======

As shown in [[#figure-1|Figure 1]], eMMC initially consists of the following partitions.
  * A ''user data'' partition - store data.
  * Two ''boot'' partitions - for booting.
  * ''RPMB'' partition - manage data in an authenticated and replay protected manner.

The host can configure additional local memory partitions (GP) in the user data area that have 
separate __address spaces starting at the logical address ''0x00000000''__. As a result, a 
configuration such as the one shown in [[#figure-2|Figure 2]] may result.
